Maxxus 8.1 Rowing Machine Review

Can The Maxxus 8.1 Rowing Machine Help A Wide Range Of Users?

Maxxus 8.1 Rowing MachineAir rowers can be daunting and sometimes unattractive options for home gyms but the Maxxus 8.1 Rowing Machine is different. This model should catch a few eyes because the air resistance system is hidden in a more conventional body.

This looks like the sort of rower that anyone could use, and this continues in the specification. So, does it do enough to please everyone that wants to use it?

The Pros and Cons of this Maxxus 8.1 Rowing Machine.

Pros:

  •  A nice design for an air rower as it doesn’t have the massive fan on the top.
  •  Lots of programmes to choose from with the manual and automatic options.
  •  It is adjustable for different users with the pedals and 12 training profiles

Cons:

  •  Some problems with the console
  •  Experienced users aren’t impressed with the resistance options

The Maxxus 8.1 Rowing Machine is a more accessible version of an air rower for a lot of users.

It isn’t just the look of this machine that will appeal to a lot of new users. There are lots of different programmes and settings onboard – more than you might expect from a rowing machine.

There are automatic programmes that play around with that can help those that want something new in their regime. There is also a manual option for those with more specific needs. Among the interesting options are the heart rate and watt programmes.

Maxxus 8.1 Foldable Air Rower Machine

In addition to this, the machine is more adjustable and accessible to different users. This could be a great option for a shared household because of the range of workouts and the ability to create up to 12 training profiles.

This means that all users can do their own thing each day with ease. The adjustments on the pedals help too.

Unfortunately, some experienced users will struggle with this Maxxus 8.1 Indoor Rower.

There are some comments from more experienced users that criticise the design and the intensity on offer. Some that are keen rowers and used to high resistance feel that they don’t get much of a challenge from the higher settings.

Some struggle with the console and say that it isn’t the easiest to programme and view when trying to set up the best session possible. There is a sense that this is a little more awkward than it needs to be.

Is this Maxxus 8.1 Foldable Air Resistance Rowing Machine still recommendable with these issues in mind?

Overall, this is a good introduction to the potential of an air rower but doesn’t do enough for the more experienced user. That awkward nature and the low ceiling on the resistance settings might not be an issue for too many first-timers.

But, experienced users aren’t going to find what they hoped for. If this is your first introduction to an air rower then it isn’t bad as a starting point. The design, features and resistance system do just enough for a beginner. Therefore, the Maxxus rowing machine is still recommendable to the right user.
