Reebok GR Electronic Rowing Machine

Does The Programming Elevate The Reebok GR Electronic Rowing Machine?

Reebok GR RowerSome rowing machines are built for little more than a consistent workout with a familiar rhythm but the Reebok GR Electronic Rowing Machine is different.

This indoor rower has a lot going on when it comes to the programming onboard and the different options for users.

It also helps that it looks as though it was built to handle this sort of workout. But, looks are sometimes deceiving. So, can users be sure of the workout they are after when they choose this machine?

The Pros and Cons of this Reebok GR Rowing Machine.

Pros:

  •  Lots of different workout programmes to test users fitness
  •  A comfortable workout with the seat, rail and footplates
  •  The machine also folds up for storage as needed

Cons:

  •  The lack of instruction for the console
  •  The short power cord

The Reebok GR Electronic Rowing Machine is a versatile model that can push users a little further than before.

The main selling point with this machine is the fact there are so many different programmes to choose from. This isn’t like budget machines where you just turn it on, row as long as you need to and then check the data.

Here there is an electronic resistance system with 16 different levels to choose from. There are also 12 pre-set programmes and options for race and heart-rate modes.

That heart rate data can be seen on the console, which also displays the speed, distance, time, strokes per minute and the profile of the programme.

The machine itself is a good looking model with a lot of considerate features for regular users. The moulded seat runs smoothly on the rail so that users can maintain their pace with ease.

The footplates have foot straps to keep users secure and increase the chance of a good momentum. When the workout is over, there is the chance to fold the frame down into a compact shape and wheel it away for storage.

The ease of use of this Reebok One Series GR Rowing Machine does let it down slightly at first.

The biggest issue for users seems to be the set-up of the console. The buttons and data stream here aren’t as intuitive as some would have expected. It takes a little while to figure out how to set everything up and make the most of the session.

However, most users would agree that this small learning curve is worthwhile because of the gains made later on. Other than some minor complaints about the short power lead, most other buyers seem to be happy with their choice.

How does this negative feedback affect a final recommendation for this Reebok GR Folding Rowing Machine?

There is a lot to like about this product. The combination of the hardware and software take this machine further than some cheaper models. There is more choice in how to work out, which means more personal gains and less monotony in the regime.

The machine would benefit from a better manual or more intuitive buttons for new users. Yet, the workout and results achieved are typically worth the wait.

Therefore it isn’t hard to recommend this Reebok rowing machine to all those in need of something more from their rower.
